My sister tuned me into The Friday 5 site which is pretty cool. So starting this week, I will subscribe to the questions and post my responses here. Well, on to this week’s questions and my one-day-late responses:

1. What was the first band you saw in concert?
Eric Benet and his band (Kimball’s East in Emeryville, California)

2. Who is your favorite artist/band now?
John Mayer

3. What’s your favorite song?
I have lots of favorite songs but the one that comes to mind right now is Fire and Rain by James Taylor.

4. If you could play any instrument, what would it be?
The piano, although after watching John Mayer’s concert on DVD this morning, I also would like to be able to play the guitar.

5. If you could meet any musical icon (past or present), who would it be and why?
