Easter Parade

This afternoon I was watching on TV Fred Astaire and Judy Garland in the hit classic, Easter Parade. Now I’ve seen a lot of musicals from the olden times and they all pretty much have the same plot, same characters (once in a while), same size women, same voices and the music are sometimes the same tune. Nonetheless, I still watch them and I still enjoy them! Nothing beats a fun Irving Berlin musical on a boring Saturday afternoon. Fred Astaire is unrivaled when it comes to dancing and although I still like Ginger Rogers as his dancing partner, Judy Garland was also a good match for him.

Quick Updates: Got my long delayed haircut this morning. Yeah, real early in the morning too. I was apprehensive going to the appointment because she was a new hairdresser — referred to me by this nice sales associate at Nordstrom — and because I wasn’t sure if the haircut I chose will work for me. Well apprehension is gone, as of writing. She was actually very good. As for the haircut of choice? Still deciding. I got bangs this time around and now it’s “freaking” me out cause it looks so new…Locked myself out of my car yesterday. Thank God for sisters who left work — amidst tons of work — to come rescue me…Totally enjoying Dan Brown’s The Da Vinci Code…Ryan Locke on the new J. Crew Catalog! Woo-hoo!…RIP Dr. Atkins…
