Friday Five

1. What was the last TV show you watched?
I flip channels a lot when I’m watching TV but this week, I think the only TV show I watched from start to finish was Smallville (WB, Tuesday).

2. What was the last thing you complained about and what was the problem?
One of my pet peeve (although trivial) is finding an empty ice cube box in the freezer. We have a small kitchen at the back of our office that has two refrigerators. In both freezers we have about four stacks of ice cube boxes. Twice this week when I needed ice, I found almost all the boxes empty! Some lazy people in the office used up all the ice but didn’t bother to refill them! I don’t understand why they can’t just fill it up when the water cooler or faucet is barely a step away from the freezer! I hate to post a “friendly” reminder as we are all adults but I guess I’ll have to post one up on Monday.

3. Who was the last person you complimented and what did you say?
The last person I can remember complimenting is Norma, my office mate. She did a fantastic job of organizing our group’s surprise gift for another office mate who was turning 40 years old. She coordinated everything so perfectly.

4. What was the last thing you threw away?
Yesterday, I threw away an unopened box of Ritz crackers that had been in my office bookshelf (!?) since September of 2001! It was camouflaged as a book which is why I forgot about it. Anyway, the box had no expiration date or sell-by date and as I didn’t want to risk anything, I threw it away.

5. What was the last website (besides this one) that you visited?
DaDane of DaWeek. The site made me wish I owened a Great Dane. Anyway, I needed a birthday e-card for a friend of mine who is crazy about Great Danes and this site offered digital postcards of the coolest, coolest kind.
