This month and next is going to be hell for me, as far as work is concerned. Overnight, my calendar grew into a monster I hardly recognize. Every day of this week and the next few weeks are riddled with things to-do, people to meet, projects to start and finish. But I shouldn’t complain. These hectic days can only mean one thing:JOB SECURITY during these trying times.
Went to see the enjoyable Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl last Saturday. It was a fun movie to watch though it dragged on for hours. A simple story that could be told in 30 minutes seemed to go on forever. But with Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom running around and dishing witty remarks in every other scene, who’s got time to get bored? Swashbuckling Orli more than made up for the $9.00 I paid to get in.
It’s official. My sister and I are going to Keith Urban’s concert in September. I never thought I’d live to see the day that I’m going to a concert featuring country music. But Keith’s music hardly sounds country. His songs got really nice beat. So it should be fun, besides, have you seen how good-looking this guy is? Oh my!
Got the Ebay magazine I won (Uomo Grazia, June 2001). It has a nice editorial featuring Ryan Locke. Looking good, as usual.
Poor Kobe Bryant. How’s he going to get out of this mess?
I’m attempting to knit a scarf again. “Attempting” being the operative word.
Is it Thursday, yet?
