Disposition: Dreading next week’s back-to-back-to-back interviews
Listening: This is Alice Music, Vol. 7
Reading: Winning Modern Wars (Wesley Clark)
Watching: VH1’s Fabulous Life Of
Obsessing: Hayden Christensen
Pondering: George Bush says, ‘Gore’s book needs a lot of explaining.’ Of course, Bush says that about every book. (Bill Maher)

On Friday, my sisters and I went to see back-to-back movies at the Embarcadero Cinema. We watched Shattered Glass first and then Elephant. Both movies were excellent and I highly recommend them. Elephant, a movie by Gus van Sant (My Own Private Idaho, Finding Forrester) is eerily realistic and moving. It left me speechless and pondering the horrors facing and poisoning the youth of today. Shattered Glass on the other hand was engaging, well-scripted and well-directed. Although it didn’t explain why New Republic journalist, Stephen Glass did what he did - fabricate the sources for almost half of his articles - it was a more than enough glimpse into the mind of this talented but disturbed journalist and the world of journalism as a whole…

Saturday, we went to see Matrix Revolutions on IMAX. Whew! and Wow! I didn’t understand half what I was watching (sad, but true) partly because I can’t remember how Matrix Reloaded ended and because I got lost on the way to Zion, trying to figure out who’s a program, who’s a virus - if there is even one - and why there was a war. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed the movie a lot! The fact is, the movie’s concept is unique and it is a total eye-candy. The effects and the fight scenes were amazing. And watching it on an IMAX screen tripled the awesome experience…

Lately I’ve been watching a lot of news. Naturally, I’ve watched a whole lot of George W. Bush footage. The more I watch him make a speech and hear what he has to say, the more I am reminded what an irritating, ineffective public speaker he is…

The more I watch General Wesley Clark (Ret.) on TV, the more I believe he just might be the one to defeat G-Dub…

General Clark calmly asking Meet the Press host Tim Russert if he has the rest of the article he was quoting the General from so that the statement he (Russert) higlighted can be put into context? PRICELESS…

Dr. Howard Dean may very well win the Democratic Presidential nomination although my vote and hopes still go to General Clark. Now can someone tell Dr. Dean to loosen up? Can the guy’s stance and facial expression get any stiffer? For real…

This may sound very naive but I always thought journalists are supposed to be non-partisan. They’re supposed to deliver the news or facilitate the conversation without bias. I honestly think Fox News and CNN anchors and reporters slept through that part of their journalism coursework…

Word to J. J. Abrams: Now we’re talking! Alias is gearing up, baby…

What’s cooler than iPod? Why iTunes of course…

The Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban teaser-trailer is awesome! Is it June yet?…
