And To All Good Things…An End

December 14th, 2003 · No Comments

Disposition: Sad and nostalgic
Listening: Lord of the Rings - Return of the King Soundtrack
Reading: Lord of the Rings (J.R.R. Tolkien)
Watching: Keith Urban
Obsessing: Hayden Christensen
Pondering: In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years. (Abraham Lincoln)

The last three nights here in Las Vegas has been memorable indeed, sans the crappy hotel room and the even crappier bathroom. Nothing could be better than back-to-back-to-back nights of Keith Urban in concert. But now alas, the shows are over and one more good thing has come to its end. Tonight was his last show here in Vegas - and his last show for the year as well - and it was a bittersweet parting. I carry with me fond memories of Keith in blue jeans, strumming a guitar like a man possessed, crooning his heart out of his soul and unto ours.

Until the next concert I get a chance to see and until the next single or CD comes out…

PS. My sister found the title of the second song he sang for his encore on the first and second night. It’s The Heart of the Matter by Don Henley.
