Little by little, one travels far.

Where To Go?

February 18th, 2004 · No Comments

Disposition: Bored
Listening: S Club 7 (Awful, I know…)
Reading: Deception Point (Dan Brown)
Watching: The adventures of Sharpe
Obsessing: Karl Urban and Sean Bean
Pondering: Babies don’t need a vacation but I still see them at the beach. I’ll go over to them and say, ‘What are you doing here, you’ve never worked a day in your life!’. (Steven Wright)

My sister and I can’t decide where to go for vacation this year. My sister even wrote about all the possibilities in her journal. But that’s just the problem; there are so many possibilities. Ideally, I want a trip that is inexpensive, tropical and does not involve a whole lot of flight time although a long flight to London or Spain or France is not out of the question. A drive to Tahoe in June would even suffice and a cruise in September would be lovely. Bottom line, I just want to go away for a week or two - to recoup, revitalize and forget about work; read a book, visit a museum or two, shop in quaint little stores; discover a world I could only dream of when I was young.
