Disposition: Keeping things low
Listening: iTunes
Reading: Crisis Four (Andy McNab)
Watching: After the Deluge
Obsessing: Karl Urban and Sean Bean
Pondering: Far away there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them, and try to follow where they lead. (Louisa May Alcott)

It’s such a lovely day outside. So lovely, I decided to sit outside for lunch. Good thing I decided to buy one of those pre-packed salads from Safeway when I walked to coffee this morning. This way I could just sit and write about the day and its beauty without having to worry if I have enough time to gobble food and write something emotional before I have to rush to my afternoon meeting.

Spring is indeed in the air, ready to burst free and take over. You can see and smell the signs of its coming. The mornings are less cold and the afternoons are pleasant. The garden in the County courtyard is beginning to blossom with colorful flowers, the newly mowed lawn is glistening in the sunshine, and the tree outside our office window is bearing what seems like pink flowers. People are beginning to dress in bright colors, open-toed sandals and pastel-colored cropped pants. Spring has sprung even for the neighborhood cats that were “making babies” the other night. They woke the entire neighborhood up with their screams and purring but they could care less — it’s the season to talk birds and bees.

I am never big on sunshine and warm weathers. I am an autumn kind of person and I hold on to the winters as much as I could. Spring can only mean one thing to me - I am only two seasons away before winter comes around again. But today was an exception. Today, the sun was my friend, embracing me as I stepped out of the office with the cool breeze whispering in my ears. It kept me company as I sat at the bench outside my office, watching passersby try to get to their destination, eating my tasty salad and writing this pointless entry.

PS. By golly, I think I’ve got a crush on David Wenham too, like my sister Myra! Her craziness has rubbed off on me!

PSS. Alias was cool last night! Just lovin’ the bad-ass Lauren.

PSSS. Went antique store window-shopping last Friday and it was a whole new world of experience. I bought me a cheap ring that’s too big for me and looks like diamond from afar but too cheap to be one, and has the word “Germany” inscripted inside. I was so excited to find it amidst old jewelry boxes though it’s hardly a novelty. I doubt it’s even antique. I also bought my mother an early birthday gift - a Wedgewood China that goes well with her collection.

Lastly, my friend Chit-Chit said the nicest thing to me this weekend. She said I was the Samwise Gamgee in her life. What a nice thing to say, I think!
