Disposition: Angry
Reading: The Seville Communion
Pondering: And when it rains on your parade, look up rather than down. Without the rain, there would be no rainbow. (Gilbert K. Chesterton)
Woke up bright and early today, ready to spend a full morning by the beach. I had my book and iPod ready and was eager to go. First my sister and I went to breakfast where I had, to my heart’s delight, papaya and cantaloupe of the sweetest kind.

After enjoying the AM basking in the sun, dipping in the ocean every now and then, people-watching (especially our lovely Italian neighbor and his family), reading a few chapters from the paperback I brought with me, I am back in our room and suffering through a heavy downpour. OK who am I kidding, it’s a storm complete with lightning and thunder that won’t seem to let up anytime soon. Make matters worse, there’s no TV or radio in the room so other than reading, there’s not much to do but sleep.
Hope tomorrow brings back the sun and gives me better things to write about.
