There and Back Again

Well what do you know? Summer’s in full swing and half the years gone by. Wasn’t it just yesterday when we bid adieu to winter? Now I’m more than ready to say hello to autumn.

July last year my sister and I got our bathroom remodeled, which resulted to us splurging on a room at the W Hotel in San Francisco for a weekend to get away from the stink of paint and construction in the house. It was also the same time when Keith Urban’s music video for Who Wouldn’t Want To Be Me came out and strengthened my love for the dude. Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, starring the lovely Johnny Depp, came out in theaters. It was also early in July 2003 when Kobe Bryant’s self-induced misery became the one of the bigger headlines. It’s doesn’t feel like one year has passed by but there’s no denying it — it has passed.

And what’s the best way to celebrate the summer and the month of July? Why, a ‘face lift’ of course. Yup, thanks as usual to my dear sister, this site got a new look. Beautiful and charming, if I may so. That’s me on the right and my namesake on the left. Aren’t we lovely? NOT. Maybe just Leonardo’s Mona Lisa is…
