I think I’m in love with Robbie Harrington. Robbie is Keith Urban’s bassist. Lovely, lovely boy though the linked picture hardly gives justice to what the man looks like in person! Alas, the dude’s married. Sigh! Well, it’s not like I had the chance.
Now that we got my love confession out of the way, let’s talk about Keith Urban’s concert in Reno, NV last weekend. As usual, I had a grand time jamming to the coolest, loveliest and most talented guitarist/singer/composer/performer of all time, as far as I’m concerned. He performed all the standard hits (Who Wouldn’t Want To Be Me, But For the Grace of God, You Will Think of Me), a few new ones from his upcoming album (Days Go By, Better Half), one I’ve never heard him perform live (A Song for Dad) and an oldie but goodie from when he was with The Ranch (Homespun Love). And as a total treat to me but not to my sister, he sang a cover of Maroon 5’s She Will Be Loved. Awesome, awesome!
As for Reno, well the city is forgettable though we all had fun - myself, my sisters and parents. My dad was a big winner. Who would have thought he’d have fun in Reno and winning the Wheel of Fortune slot machines? Even Ma wasn’t expecting that for sure. As for me, I lost about $40 in slot machines, $20 in a round of black jack (my first time) and $20 in the arcade games as I tried to win a freaking - and elusive - stuffed horse for my nephew.
We left Reno early Sunday morning and got back to the Bay Area in time for lunch. Personally, I left Reno dejected by my poor performance in the slot machines but charmed once more by Keith Urban and smitten, just smitten, by his lovely bassist, Robbie.

Sounds like a fun weekend, Lisa! How many times have you seen Mr. Urban in concert now? And did you really post that at 4:40 am? When do you sleep?

Are you ready for this? I’ve been to seven Keith Urban concerts, none of them in California. I’ve been to Vancouver, Reno and Las Vegas (recently) just to see him and his guitar.
And yes, I posted the entry at 4:40 AM. I finished writing and meant to post it the previous night but my server was down. When I woke up really early the next morning to catch my 6:30 AM flight to Las Vegas - I managed to sneak in online and post the entry before leaving.

Lisa, I happened upon your site as I think it’s quite funny anyone would think my brother Robbie that hot. That’s really funny. I suppose he is but I am just a little sister. Hard to see it. Glad you enjoy his music along with Kieth and Dierks. Mandi Harrington-Jackson
