The Prince and Me

Reading: Crochet pattern books
Watching: The Prince and Me
Listening: 1991 (Keith Urban)
Pondering: There aren’t enough days in the weekend. (Rod Schmidt)

Weekend is here, hurray! To celebrate its arrival I had a stick of Twix and half a small bag of Sunchips. Haven’t had those for awhile and not surprisingly it felt and tasted good.

I rented DVDs earlier today and I just finished one of them, The Prince and Me starring Julia Stiles and newcomer Luke Mably. You can say I was entertained and even got tickled fancy just a bit by the sheer fairy tale twist of the story. But the thing worth mentioning about the movie is that they played one of my favorite songs of all time, I Hope That I Don’t Fall In Love You, an old Tom Waits song this time performed by Marc Cohn. It was a real treat! The movie even featured an acoustic instrumental version of it. I just loved it! Maybe I’ll go purchase it from iTunes right now.

On a sad note, rumor has it that Keith Urban’s band has been replaced. So there goes my little love affair with Robbie Harrington, his bass guitar player.

    Wow… How sad. And sudden?

Kel saw that movie last week, too… she wasn’t that crazy about it but there wasn’t any music in it with history for her. She loves Julia Stiles, though. I’m not sure what she didn’t like about it.
