Reading: A how-to-knit book
Listening: Billy Joel Greatest Hits – Volume III
Pondering: The generation of random numbers is too important to be left to chance. (Robert Coveyou)

(Random thoughts from the day.)

Thursday is Veterans Day and thanks in part to California’s energy crisis a few years ago our office is closed on Fridays. That means this week is a short 3-day week! THANK GOD!

Keith Urban’s Be Here album reached platinum status in six weeks. My man has finally conquered! Much deserved.

My sisters and I are celebrating Veterans Day by doing one of back-to-back movie marathons. First showing of the day will be The Incredibles and then Jude Law in Alfie. Should be fun.

Out: Alias. In: CBS’s Without A Trace and WB’s Jack and Bobby. If Ben Affleck is indeed going to be a guest in ABC’s Alias, I am truly dumping the show as one of my all-time favorites. But if Michael Vaughn (Michael Vartan) gets to shoot Ben’s character, then maybe I’ll reconsider.

I’m in-love with Colin Firth and my sister is confused about the fact that I am.

I wish I were in Spain right now, watching El Lobo on the big screen. Sigh…

Today’s calendar features Gollum with a fish dangling in his mouth. He is so cute!

Finally, I’m so glad I live California and not in one of the states that re-elected George W. Bush to office. You guys just signed us to 4 years of hell and sealed the US title of international laughing stock! You should be so proud.

I’m relieved that Wisconsin squeaked by as a Kerry state, as well. I was on the edge of my seat all night, though… I was prepared to be SO.Pissed.Off had we actually swung repulsivan this time. It was far too close for comfort for me. I even hustled Keith to the polls when he was home the weekend prior to make sure he’d get his vote in if only so we’d cancel out my poor deluded parents’ votes.

I guess both of our States will be miserable for the next for years, Keri. Thank God for Colin Firth to help us release some of these frustrations.

And oh you can’t possibly have “Mr. Darcy” cause you are already taken!
