Rent a limo and be driven around the great city of San Francisco.
2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn’t have one last year, won’t have one this year.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
YES! My office mate Marife and my boss’ secretary, Elvia.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
My aunt Mercedes died on Christmas day.
5. What countries did you visit?
Playa del Carmen, Mexico and Vancouver, British Columbia
6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
The winning lottery ticket.
7. What dates from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
August 12, 13 and 20 and December 12 and 17. Why? Keith Urban concerts.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Survived the rigors of work.
9. What was your biggest failure?
I didn’t lose the weight I wanted to lose. More specifically, I didn’t maintain the weight I lost.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Other than a burnt finger, every now and then and paper cuts showing up every so often, no nothing major.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Pair of denim jeans from Mervyn’s (of all places).
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
My sister Myra for pursuing her desire to travel abroad all by herself.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and disgusted?
George Bush, Jr. And he continues for four more years.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Tickets to Keith Urban concerts. iTunes purchases is a close second, I think.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?

a) happier or sadder? Same, I think. Not happier and not sadder either.
b) thinner or fatter? Fatter, definitely.
c) richer or poorer? Still poor.
18. What do you wish you’d done more of?
Go to the gym.

Spend money buying silly things.
20. How will you be spending New Year’s Eve?
I spent New Year’s Eve at home watching DVDs with my sisters and cooking boxed treats I purchased earlier in the week from Costco.
21. Did you fall in love in 2004?
Yes, to Robbie Harrington - Keith Urban’s ex-bassist. And I re-kindled my love affair with Spanish actor, Eduardo Noriega. Does this count?
22. How many one-night stands?
Good Lord!
23. What was your favorite TV program?
Without a Trace.
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
Jennifer Garner. Though hate is too strong a word, don’t you think? Let’s just say I used to like her, now I don’t. At work? Well, that’s a secret.
25. What was the best book you read?
Shutter Island by Dennis Lehane. I can rave about it to anyone!
26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
iTunes.
27. What did you want and get?
A new Palm Pilot for my birthday and all the gifts I received this Christmas came straight off my amazon.com wishlist.
28. What did you want and not get?
Front row seats and backstage passes to #7.
29. What was your favorite film of this year?
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
30. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I am 31. The weekend before my birthday, my sisters and I went to Las Vegas. On the actual day of my birthday, I had lunch with friends from the office and dinner with my family.
31.What one thing would have made your year measurably more satisfying?
Winning the lottery.
32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?
Wrinkle free.
33. What kept you sane?
Not taking things too serioulsy and taking time off from work every now and then.
34. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?

35. What political issue stirred you the most?
November elections got me all riled up and then, depressed. Gay marriages - being from San Francisco - is a runner-up.
36. Who did you miss?
Re-phrase questions to what: Alias, Season 4.
37. Who was the best new person you met?
Robbie Harrington though I didn’t really meet him. Seriously, I didn’t meet anyone interesting this year.
38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004.
Car brake is left of the gas pedal.

that’s the second Shutter Island recommendation I’ve seen this week. Now I KNOW I have to read it. Hmm. You had 39 questions and the other place I found it had 39 questions but they both ended with different #39’s but I’ve also seen the SAME quiz with 40.

Hey Keri, I enjoyed your answers. I am an Urbanite also. It is good to ponder every now and then but don’t obsess it is a waste of precious time.
