Pondering: Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing. (Helen Keller)
I have just finished watching Love, Actually on one of those cable channels and near the end, I started to cry and I couldn’t stop crying. It must have been the TheraFlu I took or the head-cold or a combination of both. It must have been from watching Emma Thompson hold back tears as she revealed to her husband that she knew he cheated on her. Maybe it was because of those damn Beach Boys singing God Only Knows as everyone met up with their loved ones at the airport. Or then again, it must have been Colin Firth looking so damn fine trying to propose marriage in broken Portuguese.
Truth is, I was touched. It happens every now and then. And I’m such a sucker for chic-flicks and romantic comedies. I can’t help it.

I love this movie. Love it. Love love love it. And Colin. Proposing. Is it not the sweetest scene?
And I sobbed as Emma stood in her bedroom sucking up the emotion after she found out her husband hadn’t bought the jewelery for her. When she’d put in the cd he bought for her instead and listened to a little of her beloved Joni Mitchell.
I have to admit, I felt for Mark and the whole in love with his best friend’s girl part, too… wasn’t he sweet?

Yes, I adore the Mark storyline. What about the Prime Minister though? Must not forget the Prime Minister and his secretary and that “Jump!” dance scene. Hugh Grant is so hilarious.

I am here again. after how long? Too long. Sorry it has been so long. To add to this conversation, I also loved the Prime Minister story line and the Jump! dance scene. HOWEVER, it was too short. It could have been much much longer.
Isn’t Hugh aging well?
