Watching: Whose Line Is It Anyway?
Pondering: It takes years and years of marathon-type training to develop your aerobic capacity to the fullest. (Arthur Lydiard)
You know about the storm before the calm? I know I reversed that but you get the point…Anyway I’m in that state right now. I have dubbed this the marathon week because I just know how many things I need to do by the end of Thursday, before I go on a long-awaited vacation.
Let’s see, today I completed four of the eight reference checks I needed to do and placed calls and scheduled appointments with the remaining four. If I stay on course, I might just be able to finish ahead of schedule. I finished the job study write-up that I’ve put in the back burner for so long but was beginning to burn me. This is one I will be so glad to cross off my list because this is a royal pain in the behind!
Well tomorrow’s another marathon day but no worries because the count down to vacation (and the Keane concert in Las Vegas!) is on and it’s pushing me to run so fast towards the finish line as if I have a ringwraith after me.

Hello… very interesting and soothing site, though I have to explain how I got here. I was (and still am) trying to find information on the Abre Los Ojos soundtrack, and an in-depth Google session led me to one of your posts here from 2004 in which you were listening to the very same soundtrack. Hope this isn’t a too-weird request, but can you please please please identify a song for me from that soundtrack? I’ve been losing my mind trying to find anything that will point me in the right direction but can only find slivers of info, none of which yields the desired result. If I haven’t lost you yet, here’s the song I’m looking for: the club scene in which Cesar has his mask on backwards and is silhouetted by the laser lights… the song starts with a slow bass line and the crowd cheers and raises their arms in anticipation. The vocals are female, and the overall feeling from the snippet they play is sort of trancey-ambient (I guess?) and for the life of me I can’t find any lead on who it is or what the name of the song is. Can you help me? Again, I know this is way out of left field, but I’m getting desperate and so you just might be my only hope. Thanx, and I apologize for the intrusion. I do like your site though and will spend some more time looking around even if I don’t hear from you regarding my request.

Brian — I sent you an email on this. The song is “Glamour” by Amphetamine Discharge. Hope you find it!
