Listening to: Talk (Coldplay)
Pondering: Someone you like is wearing an ugly hat, and she asks you to give her your honest opinion of it: “What a lovely chapeau! But if I may make one teensy suggestion? If it blows off, don’t chase it.” (Miss Piggy, Miss Piggy’s Guide to Life)

I got the idea for this entry from Keri’s blog post today. Here then are the first lines from the my first post for each month of this this year.

January 2005: You know some days you just don’t get a break?

February 2005: Eduardo Noriega was in Miami, Florida this week.

March 2005: I have just finished watching Love, Actually on one of those cable channels and near the end, I started to cry and I couldn’t stop crying.

April 2005: I am taking the train to work for the first time after a long time.

May 2005: Here’s what you do: Take your iPod (or whichever mp3 player you have)…

June 2005: One day, so many weeks ago I dabbled at poetry writing again.

July 2005: Was it just me or was VH1/MTV’s coverage of the Live 8 concert a total waste of time?

August 2005: I finished Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and my guesses for who the half-blood prince was and who died in the story were all incorrect.

September 2005: It’s day two of my long weekend here in Las Vegas and so far I have talked to an unabashed bigot of a taxi driver who despised blacks and the liberalism of California.

October 2005: In case you haven’t figured it out yet, I am crazy about the band Keane.

November 2005: All these iTunes shopping I’ve been doing lately has got me wondering what my celebrity playlist would look like if I were a celebrity.

December 2005: I just got back from a wonderful, quiet and peaceful weekend at Costanoa Coastal Camp and Lodge.
