There and Back Again

For the last five days, I have been waking up to the sound of the ocean waves crashing and eating my huevos breakfast while enjoying a view of the ocean. For the last five days, I have been spending my afternoon sitting under the sun, by the pool, sipping margaritas and listening to music or reading a book. For the last five days, I have been on vacation, without a worry in the world.

Today, I am back home. Vacation over. Too short as usual. I can still smell the sun and the ocean on my skin, though I’m sure it’s only my imagination. It will take days for the smell to disappear.

I don’t really mind.
