There and Back Again

Two wonderful things are happening on Tuesday, June 20:

First, Under the Iron Sea, Keane’s sophomore album is coming out, finally! The critically acclaimed album was released last week to all other countries but the US. I am peeved that the rest of the world have heard it already and I haven’t. But no worries, it will be on this side of the pond in two days.

Secondly, I will be seeing the lads live in concert again! (Cartwheeling and jumping up and down.) Keane is performing at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco on June 20 - the first stop of their US tour to introduce the new album. I have tickets to the LA show too on June 21 but I will have to pass. Work interferes, as usual.

And did I mention England is playing Sweden at the World Cup on this day too?

I wish I had the smarts to take the day off…
