Listening to: The Frog Prince (Keane)
Pondering: Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life. (Berthold Auerbach)
Well what can I say, I had a blast at Keane’s show last night at the Great American Music Hall. What else did you expect? I was delighted to see my favorite band back to it’s old wicked ways.
Although I spent the entire night, unable to see Tim Rice-Oxley’s face, I thought we had the best seat in the house. We were on the balcony, just above the stage. Because the venue was intimate, the balcony wasn’t too, too high above the stage. I had a great view of the Richard, Tom and Tim’s, well, errr behind.
All in all, a pretty good night. To top it all, I got a signed lithograph of the Under the Iron Sea CD cover. What could be better ending to a wonderful night?
