There and Back Again

I was watching my sister’s Austin City Limits 2005 DVD and after I got over the irritation that Coldplay’s performance - the event’s headliner - was not included (thank God Keane’s was included), I started to watch all the other featured bands. One band caught my attention - Ambulance LTD (pronounced el-tee-dee, not limited). I downloaded what I could from iTunes and I must say, their debut album simply called LP and the EP they released earlier this year, New English, are such a joy to listen to.

I searched the Internet for tour info and I was disheartened to learn that 3 members of the 4-member band, left to form their own group earlier right after the release of New English. Right now, Ambulance LTD is just Marcus Congleton, the lead singer/songwriter.

Isn’t that sad?
