I am seriously contemplating getting a dog and getting it sooner than later. I already have a name for him but so does my sister who is also my room mate, i.e. co-owner of the dog. She would like a Shih-Tzu to name Sunflower and I want a Golden Retriever and name him Griffey. Neither dog is ideal for our schedule at this time so we will more than likely end up with a different dog whose name is neither Sunflower nor Griffey.
But I vow that one day I will find me a Golden Retriever named Griffey who will live with me for the rest of my life.

Sorry sister. heh. I would totally have a Golden if I could. Every friend/family member I have ever known who has had a Golden has been so very happy as they are totally loyal and so very trainable and lovely as pets.
This would be my very first choice if I could have any dog in the world. *sigh*
