There and Back Again

Yesterday I interviewed for a job and I left the interview room feeling totally drained and defeated. I don’t ever want to feel that way again.

Today I found out the results. I passed but the fact remains, I didn’t do as well as I would have liked to.

My ego is bruised because I know I am so much better than a 45-minute interview and a 5-minute presentation.

Maybe I’ll go for drinks tonight then let it go. What will happen will happen and I am in no position to change the course of that now.
