Listening to: Bad (U2)
Pondering: A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools. (Douglas Adams)
My sister, the other day, asked me this question:
If you were going to be stranded on an island, which ten albums (CDs) would you like to have in your possession?
Assuming the worst, that the iPod has not been yet invented so I cannot carry all of my CDs with me to the island, here are the top ten CDs (in no particular order) that I would like to keep as my company during my days of solitude and survival:
1. Tapestry - Carole King
2. The Singles: 1986 to 1998 - Depeche Mode
3. A Rush of Blood to the Head - Coldplay
4. Parachutes - Coldplay
5. Hopes and Fears - Keane
6. A Few Small Repairs - Shawn Colvin
7. Be Here - Keith Urban
8. Room for Squares - John Mayer
9. Pink Room - Nick Drake
10. Rue de cascades - Yann Tiersen

blogging in two places these days. We have such similar tastes in music. I’d be happy with about half of this on my list. I might add an elliot smith. maybe a little simon and garfunkel. (yeah, old school girl here. I’m old, what can I say?) Probably little CSNY.
I’m finally feeling like I could sleep. Better make an attempt.

Yeah, I can add a few oldies in too, definitely. Some Abba? Some old-school Michael Jackson, and Al Bowly for some 1940s (World War II) nostalgia.
