There and Back Again

Another holiday over, another year starting. Always makes me sad to realize that I’ll have to get through 335-odd some days until the next yuletide season comes around. I love the holidays. I totally hate the start of a new year.

This year is going to bring in new challenges for me. First of all, new job and new responsibilities. I’m slowly plunging into new areas I have never quite experienced before. It’s exciting but it is also hard work. I have not really transitioned out of my other job just yet, so the juggling of work is definitely added stress.

I am ready, however. I am ready to do something different this year. In fact, I am thinking about going back to school just try out something new for myself. I just got a brochure for some online degree classes that seem pretty interesting. Maybe I’ll check it out.

Of course, there is always a possibility that this year will be just like the other year and that is okay too, I guess. Last year went by so fast, I can’t remember half of it so it must not have been a totally bad year, after all.
