Pondering: “Take everything you like seriously, except yourself.” (Rudyard Kipling)
Listening to: And Your Bird Can Sing (The Beatles)
For the first time ever in my thirty four years of existence, I rode the ferris wheel. Pathetic, some would say. I’ve been on many rides but never the ferris wheel. I remember long time ago I started jotting down things I’d like to accomplish before I die and this was one of it. I can cross that off the list now…
I enjoyed it a lot - the feeling of going up and the fear of dropping that never really quite happens. You get a different perspective on things and life when you are suspended in air like that. Time seems to be of no relevance. The world below and all its little people don’t care about you and you don’t care about them. Up there, it’s just you and your thoughts and the wind kissing your face.
